"Johnny & The High Jive's Journey started around 7 years ago in Polesworth, North Warwickshire. After years of playing in various Rock,Blues & Soul bands, and becoming slightly disillusioned with Music I decided the time was right to form a new band. Playing the music I first remembered hearing & loving as a child. The Music that I learned to dance to in my Grandma's front room, The very music that first inspired me to want to play music. 

(Chuck Berry, Elvis, The Everleys, Eddie Cochran, The Drifters, Dion & The Belmonts, Roy Orbison to name just a few).

After enlisting my old Friends 'Champagne' Charlie (Guitar & vocals), Phil 'The Count' (Drums)...'Johnny & The High Jives' Was born!

Phil ‘The Count’ recently decided to take a break away from music after 6 fantastic years with the band. 
we’re really pleased that Jon ‘The Caveman‘ Caves has agreed to join us on a full time basis. 
 

For over 7 years, we have played shows up and down the country, filling dance floors & making new friends as we go. 

To me, That is what music is all about! If we make people smile, laugh, dance & have a good time…then we’ve done our job! "
